Drove into town to meet Caroline. Had parked the car and and made my way to the corner of Sveavägen and Rådmansgatan by 11:35. We had breakfast at a very unsual cafe just off Sveavägen -almost next to Hardrock cafe. It had an authentic 1950s interior probably fitted by its present owners- a couple in their 70s-80s which migrigated from Germany during the war- Caroline informed me as we sat down.We each had a sandwich and Coffee with milk.
We were done within half an hour upon which we embarked on a two hour walk through Hagaparken and into Solna before we got back to the city through St. Eriksplan.
She spoke of her friends and recent travel all the while it was striking me just what an extensive network of friends she has. She mentioned acquiantaces from London, Singapore, Beijing, Berlin and other European cities. It is an enviable life- she at the right places, with the right people doing all manner of things that appeal to her interests. I am quite inspired by that.
She is definitely a good influence on me- I could use more people like her!
It was enjoyable. I was back at Sigtuna around half past three.
